Farmers Insurance Open

Farmers Insurance Open

It was a frustrating week for us in the California Desert as for the second week running one of our outright picks came up just short, finishing in second place.

The man in question, Adam Hadwin, had the tournament by the scruff of its neck on the twelfth hole, however he stalled from there on in opening the door for both Phil Mickelson and…

The Desert Classic

The Desert Classic

It was nearly a fantastic week for us in Honolulu with Andrew Putnam in the hunt right down to the wire before coming up just short to Matt Kuchar.

Still, it was a profitable week with a nice e/w return so whilst it was disappointing not to get the win we can’t complain too much.

So after it’s two week stint in Hawaii the PGA Tour moves…

Sony Open

Sony Open

It was a slightly disappointing end to the week for us at Kapalua with Leishman labouring somewhat on Sunday compared to those around him on the leaderboard.

Not all was lost though as the Aussie still gave us a 2/3rds share of place money meaning we recouped the majority of our stake money for the week at least.

Moving on and 2019 on the PGA Tour…

Sentry Tournament Of Champions

Sentry Tournament of Champions

After it’s brief sabbatical the PGA tour returns to our screens with it’s traditional year opening curtain raiser in Hawaii. A field of 34 will tee it up with Justin Rose, Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson the three eligible notables who have decided not to make the trip.

Six Players To Follow On The PGA Tour For 2019

SIX TO FOLLOW FOR 2019

As I did at the beginning of 2018 I have taken a look at 6 players on the PGA tour who I think will have a really positive year in 2019 and who I think it will pay to ‘keep on side’ at the right time.

These players are a mix of younger guys coming through and more established players, with the only link being that I think they will all have…

Hero World Challenge

Hero World Challenge

So we have one more event to take a look at before the Christmas break, The Hero World Challenge.

The Hero World Challenge was first played in 2000.

The event benefits the Tiger Woods Foundation.

In its first year the event was played at the Grayhawk Club in Scottsdale, Arizona. It was then held from 2001 through to 2013 at the…

The RSM Classic

The RSM Classic

It was a decent week of profit for us in Mexio with a full place pay out on JJ Spaun and a share of the places on Scott Piercy to show for our efforts.

The only disappointment on the week was that our trader Carlos Ortiz was unable to build on his good first round and after struggling to a second round 72 he missed the cut.

So as the 2018…

Mayakoba Golf Classic

Mayakoba Golf Classic

It was a frustrating week for us in Vegas with all of our team performing well and finishing in the top 40, with three of them, Piercy, Spaun and Im finishing within one or two shots of the places.

Ultimately though you get nothing for finishing 10th or 15th so as I say it was a frustrating week.

There was some better news with our trader…

The Shriners Hospital For Children Open

The Shriners Hospital For Children Open

After three slow weeks to start the new 18/19 season last week proved to be a great week for us in the end.
The week had started slowly and the WGC ultimately proved to be a disappointment with our main hope going in to Sunday, Tommy Fleetwood, fading.

Over at the Sanderson Farms however two of our pre event 100-1 picks,…

The Sanderson Farms Championship

The Sanderson Farms Championship

So with the PGA Tour’s elite either done for the season or chasing a WGC Title in China the rank and file of the tour will be in Mississippi this week chasing a potentially life changing win with all the trappings that come with it.

The event has been a part of the tours schedule since 1968 and during this time it has had many different…
